The heat diffuser is designed to push smoke and heat up the sides of the grill before circulating and exiting through the rear exhaust. This new design gives you even heat and smoke throughout the entire chamber. Not only is the heat distribution better than the normal chimney, it also profides fresh smoke roling over your food maximizing flavor but preventing a bitter taste from the smoke becoming stagnant around the food.

WIFI & App Connectivity

Unlike our other Gen 2 controllers, the Woodwind WIFI line comes gives a full color display, a weather resistant cover, easy-to-use menu dial, and four ports for temperature probes. Connect to the Camp Chef Connect App to adjust and monitor the flavor at your fingertips. Available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, the Camp Chef Connect allows you to monitor your cook from anywhere. Set timers with push notifications, view historical data from past cooks, label your probes and select your meat type using the Smart Meat Assistant. Using a pellet grill has never been easier.

Rust Resistant Components

High grade stainless steel helps the grill hold heat and protect against rust and corrosion. The stainless steel on the inside of the grill is 430. The butterfly valve, gasket, and burn cup are all 304. Grills are often left out in the elements and endure harsh weather. In an effort to build a long lasting pellet grill we knew stainless steel was the only answer.

Smoke Control

The PID controller helps regulate smoke and temperature. Control exactly how much smoke you incorporate into your cook by adjusting the Smoke Number. The PID s extremely detailed controller gives you the industry s most precise grill temperature. As your Smoke Number increases, your smoke output increases. As your Smoke Number decreases the temperatures will hold tighter. Fluctuation in temperature with higher smoke numbers is normal and through countless hours of testing we found it gives a far better smoke profile than a steady temperature.

Sidekick Compatible

Add a Sidekick Flat Top or Sidekick Sear to your pellet grill to get the best of both worlds. Using your existing side shelf holes, easily mount a Sidekick to your pellet grill for propane powered cooking. Add compatible 1-burner, 14-inch accessories to customize your cook! Camp Chef revolutionaized the pellet grill industry by adding a Sidekick that can heat to 700°F in just a few minutes. You no longer have to pull the meat off, wait for the grill to heat up, and then get a subpar sear.

Patented Ash Cleanout

Your pellet grill is powered by Hardwood Pellets, the burning and smoldering of those pellets provides you with smoke. However, it's also accompanied with ash. Instead of hauling the shop vac out, simply pull the Ash Cleanout knob on the side of the grill, your unwanted ash empties into the cup, where you can remove and discard within seconds. Camp Chef patented the ground breaking ash cleanout system that allows you to confidently use your grill time and time again before needing a deep clean which everyone despises.

If your dream grill includes a wishlist of more smoke, more bold flavor, and more convenience then you ll love playing around with the newly invented Smoke Box. In addition to the hardwood pellets, the Smoke Box allows you to control heat and flavor. The Smoke Box can be filled with wood pellets, wood chunks, wood chips, even charcoal and use the value to tailor your smoke output. You can even try your hand at new methods of smoking such as cold smoking using the Fan Only mode.
